Materials and Techniques:
Fabric Types by Region.
 For
those of you interested in getting it really right for the region you have
chosen to represent, here is a table showing the proportions of different
weaves found in over 1,000 graves studied by Lise Bender Jørgensen,
divided by region. It is noticable that there are regional
variations, and that these regions coincide quite well with the old Anglian,
Saxon and Jutish regions.
